NJ Turnpike Blocked After Tractor-Trailers Collide

All lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike were temporarily blocked after two tractor-trailers collided in Mercer County, authorities said.

The crash occurred shortly after 9 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 26 eastbound near Interchange 7A in Robbinsville, New Jersey State Police said.

Based on a preliminary investigation, a Kenworth tractor-trailer and a Freightliner tractor-trailer were traveling eastbound on the Turnpike.

The driver of the Freightliner tractor-trailer lost control and collided with the Kenworth tractor-trailer, police said.

The driver of the Freightliner tractor-trailer sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital, police said.

The crash temporarily blocked all lanes, 511nj.org reported.

The crash remains under investigation and there is no additional information available.
